We are looking for bilingual Helpdesk and Desktop Engineers to join our team working onsite for an American banking and finance client. Currently the team is carrying out multiple support functions to include: user support, troubleshooting, PC roll out and deployment and 1st level helpdesk incident resolution and escalation.
Responsibilities
• Resolving calls from End users and escalating to the next support level where appropriate
• Desktop assistance as required by the call
• Image Deployment on Desktop/Laptop Systems
• General application and device support when required
• Coordination of Multi-Vendor Hardware Break-fix for Warranty & non-Warranty items
• Basic asset management tracking and reporting
• Ad-hoc floating support duties as required
• Carries out upgrades, repairs and conversions to existing systems including replacement of component parts e.g. keyboards, monitors, disks etc.
• Diagnose hardware problems and provide support as appropriate, escalating more difficult or complex problems to the appropriate group
• Install, test and operate basic operating systems software (DOS, Windows) and standard applications;
