Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese. Native Japanese level preferred.Good understanding of OLAP is preferred.Minimum of 4 years of J2EE web development.Experience building system feeds and resolving data discrepancies.Very strong SQL experience using either Sybase or UDB.Development experience using both UNIX and Windows operating systems.Japanese financial background is preferred but not mandatory.

Our client is seeking a bilingual senior developer consultant to work in the sales technology department for about 9 months based in Tokyo. This role requires the individual to migrate revenue reports, system feeds, and user functionality from a legacy Japanese revenue reporting system to an equivalent global system.
Role Responsibilities
• Redirecting the existing client revenue feed into our global revenue reporting system.
• Adding enhancements and maintenance web functionality to the global system.
• Coordination with other offices in and outside the region.
• Adding Japanese language features and functions to global system for Japan users.
• Regularly reporting progress to technology managers and business users.
