Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Office, Visio, Project)
Basic Unix and Mainframe Operation skills

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Site Manager to oversee service operations for sites in the Tokyo metropolitan area for a global banking and finance client. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with +3 years experience working onsite in Data Centers, is detail-oriented and has experience meeting strict Service Level Agreements(SLA).

This role will begin with a 1-year, renewable contract as a haken staff.

Responsibilities:

 Manage all activities on site(s) to include: asset management, change, incident/problem, projects service requests and service delivery (capacity, availability, performance)
 Manage site specific risk and controls (e.g. audits, COB, physical security, etc.) Ensure that the processes performed by the team are compliant with internal policies and standards, and meet regulatory expectations for control, monitoring and reporting of risk.
 Identify control issues and risks as early as possible, execute compensating controls, develop remediation plans and track issue to completion
 Manage site specific expenses and pursue cost avoidance or cost saving measures
 Manage the performance and development of the team/staff.
 Provide staff with the tools and resources to perform their duties and accomplish their goals and objectives.
 Collaborate with peers in other sites to develop and improve policies, processes, and standards; communicate and enforce those within the managed team and affected groups
 Develop, maintain and improve relationships with both internal and external clients
 Liaise with vendor, clients and contractors on engineering activities, technical issues and compliance inspections
